The ROG HFX Magnetic Switches offer an adjustable actuation range from 0.1 to 4.0 mm to cater to all typing preferences. Tweaking the actuation point can be done via the multi-function button and touch panel, or through Armoury Crate software.

Dedicated toggle switch on the top-right rear panel of the ROG Falchion Ace HFX activates the Rapid Trigger feature for the fastest typing response & key repeat rate. By default, only WASD keys are enabled when this feature is activated. Rapid Trigger for other keys can be enabled via Armoury Crate

A high-speed USB microcontroller delivers an 8000 Hz polling rate that refreshes input up to 8X faster than most gaming keyboards, reducing delay from 1 millisecond to a mere 0.125 ms.

A multi-function button and an interactive touch panel lets you tweak a variety of settings, including volume, media playback, keyboard lighting, and actuation point, as well as customizing commands. Additionally, the LED lighting bar on top of the keyboard displays dynamic lighting effects.

The Falchion Ace HFX uses five dampening layers – two PORON and three silicone – to absorb keystroke vibrations and pinging noise, providing a superior cushioned typing experience.

ROG PBT doubleshot keycaps provide a premium feel and offer long-lasting durability. Key design has been optimized with mid-height keycaps and a shorter stem to reduce key wobble, providing a more comfortable user experience.

ROG UV-coated ABS keycaps utilize a layer of hard UV coating to provide superb abrasion resistance protection against keycap shining.

The pre-lubed keyboard stabilizer has been specially tuned with gamers in mind; it produces less friction, allowing long keys such as Spacebar, Shift and Enter to deliver keystrokes that stay true to the original switch feel.
